The Department of Psychology boasts highly qualified and experienced faculty committed to research and the progression of the field of Psychology. Some professors are actively involved in Research, including academic journals like Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Current Psychology, ResearchGate and participate in research projects like HopeLab@DLSU.
The Psychology program offered at DLSU consists of two main branches: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology, and Bachelor of Arts (AB) in Psychology, with its graduate counterparts of Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy with a majorship in Clinical Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and Human Development. The Psychology Program that DLSU offers brings a competitive edge in the field of psychology, allowing for a globally competitive lasallian of both Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate standing.
The premier Counseling department within De La Salle University is the DLSU Office of Counseling and Career Services (OCCS) is where students can seek professional help on mental health services and career planning. They regularly hold Webinar Series on Work-Life Balance and Well-Being, and Mental Health Essentials among many other things.
Psychology Lab Facilities are also available for use by students who need to conduct their own experimental studies and research on psychology.
